Project: Direct Marketing Action: Lead Activation
Scenario: Logicalis, a global IT solutions and services company, teamed up with Akamai Technologies, a cloud computing specialist, for a joint direct marketing action. The goal was to introduce Akamai in an impactful way to contacts who had previously interacted with Logicalis and to schedule meetings to demonstrate three key services: Enterprise Application Access (EAA), Kona Site Defender (KSD), and Enterprise Threat Protector (ETP).
CHALLENGE:
The first challenge was to gather the contact information of all prospects. Additionally, it was essential to captivate and engage the audience to ensure valuable meetings with genuine interest.
SOLUTION:
To overcome these challenges, we adopted a fun and playful approach: gamification! We introduced the world of digital security as a secret mission. We transformed digital threats into an engaging dynamic where the audience felt like secret agents. Using the concept of the Hero’s Journey, we positioned the contacts as protagonists, with Logicalis and Akamai as their main allies.
DYNAMIC:
The leads received kits containing a lock, the code for which would only be provided after scheduling a meeting. The entire journey was engaging and fun, featuring a landing page, automatic meeting scheduling, and an email communication flow that sparked interest and ensured valuable meetings for the sales team.
RESULT:
The action was a great success. We achieved a significant number of leads, with many scheduling meetings that resulted in new business for Logicalis. Moreover, the innovative and engaging approach significantly increased prospect engagement, improving the perceived value of the solutions presented and strengthening the relationship between Logicalis and Akamai. This campaign not only generated new business but also reinforced the brand and presence of both companies in the market.
