CHALLENGE:
When Elera Renováveis challenged us to bring their energy complexes into the public eye in an innovative way, Vision transformed the opportunity into a 360º communication journey. We created a comprehensive campaign that combined technology, storytelling, and human engagement, offering a true immersion into the world of renewable energy. What began with the innovative immersion of Latin America’s largest solar plant in Janaúba evolved into a complete experience that connected employees, stakeholders, and event visitors with Elera’s vision.
FLYING OVER THE LARGEST SOLAR PLANT IN LATIN AMERICA
The first major milestone of this campaign was the production of a 360º film, captured with drones and special cameras, showcasing the grandeur of the Janaúba Solar Plant in Minas Gerais. Watching the video, users not only saw but truly felt what it’s like to fly over this massive solar operation. Every detail of the plant was captured in an immersive and interactive way, allowing viewers to explore the vastness of the site from every angle, feeling part of this monumental infrastructure that’s driving Brazil’s energy transition.
With just a few mouse movements, anyone could dive into the plant, understand how each step of the process works, and feel the expanse of this operation.

A DIFFERENT SUN DAY: RENEWABLE ENERGY INSIDE THE COMPANY
But we didn’t want this experience to be limited to the digital environment. So, we created an internal marketing campaign at Elera’s office in São Paulo to celebrate Sun Day. The idea was simple yet powerful: to allow employees, between coffee breaks, to virtually visit the Janaúba Plant. We set up an interactive structure with screens, kiosks, and immersive videos that brought the plant into the company. The sensation of flying over the field of solar panels was reproduced in every detail. The campaign was accompanied by sequential emails and internal communications on the company displays, creating an environment where the topic of solar energy was not only discussed but lived.
The initiative engaged hundreds of employees, who not only enjoyed a moment of relaxation but also felt firsthand the impact of solar energy on the future of the company they work for. The feedback was so positive that the concept was expanded to other states.

SERIDÓ WIND COMPLEX: WALKING INTO THE FUTURE
After transforming the Janaúba Solar Plant into a 360º experience, it was time to move forward. This time, the mission was to capture the vastness of the Seridó Wind Complex, located in Parelhas, Rio Grande do Norte. Just like in Janaúba, we used drones and special cameras to record an immersive film, but with a new challenge: to transport the viewer to the top of a wind turbine.
In the video, users can not only fly over the wind farm but also walk virtually atop one of the turbines, feeling as though they are at the heart of a field of clean and sustainable energy, propelled by the wind driving Brazil into the future. Additionally, we highlighted the social projects that are transforming the lives of local communities, bringing opportunities and sustainable development to the region.

BRINGING ENERGY TO MAJOR EVENTS
This visually stunning campaign could not be confined to the digital environment or offices. We took the immersive experience to the largest event in the sector, ENASE, in Rio de Janeiro. We created a customized lounge for Elera Renováveis, equipped with thematic panels that highlighted the brand’s sustainability and innovation.
But the real highlight of the event was the virtual reality immersion we offered visitors. Equipped with VR headsets, participants could explore both the Janaúba Solar Plant and the Seridó Wind Complex, experiencing both in thrilling 360º. The sensation of flying over the fields of solar panels or walking atop giant wind turbines was impactful, and each visitor left with personalized giveaways that reinforced Elera’s commitment to clean energy. The activation not only attracted the attention of various stakeholders in the sector but also strengthened Elera’s image of innovation in the renewable energy market.
To attract the audience to the booth, we created a video inviting visitors to explore the projects and learn more about Elera’s commitment to innovation and clean energy.

Additionally, we developed a strategic media plan to impact participants upon their arrival and departure at Santos Dumont Airport, providing them with the opportunity to learn more about the grandeur and innovation of Elera’s energy complexes.
ACTION EXPANSION
To reach Elera employees across Brazil, Vision created an internal marketing initiative that allowed staff from various states to experience both Janaúba and Rio Grande do Norte, regardless of their location. We developed a foldable virtual reality headset and a user guide, enabling employees to use their own smartphones. By scanning the QR Codes for the experiences and inserting their phones into the foldable headset, they could explore the operations in detail.
